The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends for the top 5 maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Portugal. Using data from Sensor Tower, we dive into the performance metrics of these leading apps.

Wikiloc - Trails of the World experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $1K in late September and peaking at $1.3K in mid-October before ending the year at approximately $938. Weekly downloads showed a declining trend, beginning at 749 and dropping to 517 by late December. Active users also saw a decrease, from 2.9K at the start of the quarter to 2.4K by the end.

Circuit Route Planner had a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at $832 and reaching a peak of $1K in mid-December. Downloads experienced a notable rise towards the end of the quarter, climbing from 647 in late September to nearly 1K by December 25. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 1.2K to approximately 1.5K over the same period.
